GooSync ties your Mobile to your Google Calendar

EngadgetMobile is reporting today the beta of a new service called “GooSync.” Powered by a company called “Toffa,” it uses SyncML (which dang near every mobile out there has) to synchronize your mobile device’s calendar with your Google Calendar. According to their help pages, they’re in the works to offer Contacts syncing, as well.

Personally I’m a bit leery of releasing my Google account information to just anyone, seeing how many services use the same info (gmail, spreadsheets, this blog, etc.) and they pass it all through their servers. However, since I’m the one writing the blog, and you’re reading, I’ll put my personal info on the line for you. I’ll post back later today to let you know how it goes.
