Update Your N73 to Internet Edition!

Internet_edition
Over at TheNokiaBlog, they’ve discovered the product codes to convert your regular old (or Music Edition) N73 into the newest flavor, the Internet Edition. The latest firmware, 3.0638.0.0.43 is available in Hong Kong or Taiwan language pack, and has several notable features. Apparently the Media Key (which is overtaken in the Music Edition) returns to its former usefulness, allowing the user to select what features it shortcuts to.

Also included is Windows Live Messenger, several email solutions, including (according to the screenshot) Google’s new Gmail app. He states several times that other than a few key differences (mainly those mentioned), it’s identical to the Music Edition. I’m wondering if that includes the improved Music Player app. It obviously retains the cool new themes, and still gets the fancy black keypad of the Music Edition. You’d think they’d change SOMETHING physically. Anyways, click on for step by step instructions, if you dare.

Personally, I’m really pleased with the Music Edition, so I think I’m going to keep mine just how it is. If only I could get one of those black keypads, I’d order a black (oooooh, or white) housing and be on my merry way.
