Well the feature-behemoth that is the Nokia N95 is soon to be released to the wolves, according to numerous sources on the net. In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, the Nokia N95 is their flagship N-series model, it packs some serious heat, quad-band GSM, European UMTS (yes, I know, and yes, I have serious opinions on this), WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, it runs Symbian S60v3 FP1 (which means you get the new browser), 5MP auto-focus CZ cam, um, what else? Pretty much think of any phone feature you want, it’s probably got it on there.
Darla Mack and Symbian-Freak are getting theirs this week (where’s mine?) and will most likely be posting their reviews soon. Darla has announced that she’s accepting questions on her blog to be answered in the review, slide on over there if you’re just dying to know some little detail.
There’s also a new thread over at HowardForums, started by user Rapolu, asking if you intend to get the N95 as soon as it comes out, wait a bit, or skip it entirely. Personally, unless one magically appears on my doorstep, I’ll be skipping this one. Since I have a Nokia LD-1W GPS Receiver, it really offers little that my N73 doesn’t. I have no use for WiFi, so I’ll be holding out for the Nokia N75, sadly.
