LG’s New HSDPA S60v3 KS10

I like this. I like it when other companies compete with Nokia, cause competition is always good for me, the consumer. Plus it gives me something to write about. Another 3GSM announcement that’s leaked out is LG’s new KS10. It’s a disappointment in the radio department, but other than that, it’s still someone other than Nokia putting out an S60v3 device, which is good.
As you can see, it’s a nice little slider, it’s got Tri-band GSM (the 900 flavor, sorry) and HSDPA ($10 you can’t guess what frequency….), a 2MP autofocus blinker with front-facing VGA, BT 1.2, "Mobile HDTV" (not sure on this), and a MicroSD slot (no word on HC support).

There were 2 other non-Nokia S60v3 devices earlier this year (at CES, I believe) and I don’t think I posted about them. I want to apologize for that, it was bad taste on my part. I’ll dig up the info tonite and link it here. Admittedly, I neglect the UIQ Symbian stuff because it’s similar, but an entirely different beast, but there’s no reason I should leave out S60 stuff. It won’t happen again.
