RotateMe on N73
Uploaded by soueldi This is a new app called RotateMe, for S60v3 devices. It allows you, obviously, to rotate the screen orientation through a menu selection. This means that ANY app can be used in landscape mode. The video above shows it being used on an N73.
Unfortunately, the app is not yet Symbian Signed, so beta testers are required to sign the app themselves, which can be somewhat of a tedious task. Soueldi, the developer, has said that he’s submitted the app to Symbian for signing and hopes to release a signed version as freeware later this week. Rest assured I’ll keep on top of this for future releases. You can also join the discussion either at My-Symbian.com or HoFo.
**Update** I’ve got it running on my N73 now. In portrait mode, it only takes up a fraction of a MB of RAM. However, switching to landscape uses up a whole 3MB, so be aware.
(Please do not fill the comments section up asking me to sign your copy or share my signed. As of right now, the version is unsigned and one must go through the signing process for each individual IMEI. Just wait a bit.)
