Michael Jerz of My-Symbian.com is answering questions. If you recall, he’s the one who posted the big description a few months back. He’s confirmed that the pics are real, and that the device DOES indeed have GPS. Check out the thread, he’s also working on a big review.
Engadget broke the first ever pictures of the Nokia E90 Communicator, rumored to be officially announced at 3GSM in Barcelona, which kicks off on Monday. Obviously, the pictures are very grainy, but they show some things we already knew, such as the front being a full-fledged S60 device, as well as the beautiful internal screen.
One thing I noticed, though, is the lack of extra "special" buttons like the E65 and E61i have. I’m diggin the size, as well as the button layout. Can’t wait for 3GSM for the official specs to rollout, as well as some pricing on this bad boy.
Oh yeah, they’re also reporting a 3.2MP shooter on this puppy. Can I beg for some CZ love, as well?? More pics after the break.
**Update** Engadget’s got some more deets on this bad boy:
HSDPA - yes (though no word on the specific bands. I’ve got fingers crossed for tri-band)
GPS - no (surprising)
GSM - Quad (glad to see this becoming a standard with Nokia)
WiFi - yesm
