Opera 9 Coming To Mobiles

Another one that nearly got lost in the mess is an announcement by Opera that they’re bringing their Opera 9 app to all mobile platforms. This includes the Widget support, Java and AJAX, and other crazy web browsing stuff.

One thing I’d like to see from ANY mobile browser is a plug-in that syncs my bookmarks with my desktop browser. With more and more phones being able to pull up ANY webpage, it’s only a common sense extension of things, I think.

Personally I’d most like to see it kinda like the Google Sync plugin for Firefox, where everytime I get online from a connected browser, everything’s the same: links, folders, etc. It’s unbelievably handy for when I’m at work and find something to read at home.

Programmers/Opera Listening??

  1. Shouldn’t be too hard to program such a thing if you have access to your google bookmarks through some sort of google API. RFavouritesDB is your friend.
