SoonR – Orb Replacement?

Logo_soonr
HowardForums member Jonny_Bruha has been using SoonR with his N73 for a while now and is raving about it on HowardForums. SoonR is similar to Orb, except for that it’s only accessible on a mobile device, and seems to be better for simple file access, rather than multimedia streaming.

SoonR has a desktop server application which you can instruct to share specific folders. These become your SoonR "desktop." You can then sign in from your mobile device and view the contents of these folders, as well as download the files straight to your handset.

Probably the most convenient of these, however, is the Email To function. This allows you to email a certain file to any email address, straight from SoonR, as an attachment.

Be sure to head on over there and check out the great walkthrough (with screenshots). I’ll be testing this application over the weekend, as well, and will post my thoughts.
