Texas Instruments gets 720p on a CELLPHONE!!

Omap3021307
Yet another 3GSM announcement that I love to read about. Texas Instruments (they make chips for Nokia, fyi) demoed their OMAP3430 processor, which is the first in their OMAP 3 series and has support for all kinds of crazy stuff. Currently it only supports up to 1024*768 (XGA) through composite or S-Video, but with the punch it’s packin, you could easily have a TV-Out cable going from your phone to a pal’s 720p TV. Couple this with the 4GB MicroSD from earlier and you’re talking about multimedia on the go in style.
