Carnival of the Mobilists #66 - AAS Style
I’m a few days late, but here’s the word that the 66th Carnival of the Mobilists is up over at AllAboutSymbian, and it’s a doozy! Courtesy of Rafe Blanford, there’s nearly 20 entries and he goes through all of them.
Straying away from the typical mobile content, there’s an interesting thought by Farooq Anjum as to whether perhaps a prize competition for improved battery performance would spur some innovation.
Darla Mack asks why she can’t get the IM client from her Cingular branded E62 on her E61, only to find Packetbox, courtesy of me.
Click through to read the rest of the goodies, but be sure to have a fresh cup of coffee and about an hour and a half set aside, this is good stuff.

Carnival of the Mobilists #65

Hosted this week by Judy Breck of Golden Swamp, this week’s Carnival of the Mobilists is up! This one’s got tons of good stuff, including the video of the recently announced MyStrands Mobile, and another great article on Mobile Social Networking.
Always a good read, and a great way to find out about new blogs. Head on over to check it out.

Carnival of the Mobilists #64

Sorry to say I’m not a part of this one, things this past week got really hectic, including 2 new phones in 2 days (though I don’t know if you could really count a Cingular-branded Nokia 6030 as a "NPD") and the review and playing and everything.
However, over at M-trends, there’s a great writeup as usual of the best of the mobile writings for the past week. Of particular note is Xen Mendelssohn’s article on Video Ringback Tones. The US market has just now gotten Ringback tones, and I’ve tried them with Cingular, and was unimpressed, but I, as well as Xen, definitely see the potential that they have in the marketplace. Plus, Xen’s posts, while not all that frequent, are simply stellar reads. She’s a definite add to the RSS reader.
Anyways, click on over to read the latest, and look forward to next Monday’s Carnival of the Mobilists.

Carnival of the Mobilists 63.01

David Beers at Pikesoft "Software Everywhere" blog picks up the slack on the Carnival. With so much excitement around 3GSM and all the other recent stuff, we skipped an episode there.
David has plenty to link to, covering Mobile Web 2.0, Location Location Location, The Mobile Inversion, The Internet of Things, Set My Mobile Free, and Mobile Marketing Problems Solved Here. He then continues with a look at the iPhone (sigh) and signs off with a good look at Barcelona! (3GSM).
Personal favorite? Can’t say yet. Through the whole post I’ve gotten PLENTY of tabs open to browse through. What’s yours, though? Anything stick out to you? Head on over to get the full scoop.
