Trevor over at MyStrands shot me an email earlier announcing that MyStrands has launched an updated version of their mobile software for Symbian S60 3rd Edition devices. If you’re not aware, MyStrands is an innovative new way to not only listen to your music, but for those with massive libraries (I have 5,000+ songs) that tend to forget some of the music, MyStrands helps you rediscover your own music, as well as promotes community by connecting you to people listening to the same thing you are.
Their player can automatically download album art, as well as create streaming "stations" based around your mobile listening habits. They also have a plugin for Winamp, to offer an entirely complete music experience.
Click through for a video demo’ing the app on the Nokia N95.
Here’s a video demo’ing the app on the Nokia N95. MyStrands is intended
to completely replace the Music player on your device, and I think they
do a dang good job of accomplishing that goal.
