First Unofficial PC-Free Post
Well, it’s the first day of my PC-Free for 30 days time period. Honestly, I’m kind of scared. We’ll see how things go. I technically started yesterday, since I had things to do that kept me away most of the afternoon. I would have liked to spent a full day with my PC before leaving, but oh well.
Just to recap, I will only be using my Nokia N73 ME for anything that I would typically do on my PC. The only exception being maintenance things and video uploads (since apparently there’s no good way to get a +4MB video file to blip other than through the web), which I will do on my Nokia N800 Internet Tablet. I will do my best to post exclusively through Lifeblog on the N73, as well.
If there’s anything that you’re curious about, please email me at guru (at) symbian-guru (dot) com. I’ll be checking that periodically throughout the day and that will be easier than keeping up with the comments section.
Also, I’m looking for a good logo for this feature. If you’ve got one, or got some free time design one, there’s no pay, but I will surely advertise where it came from, just email it to me and I’ll add it on.

You can install an S60 FTP application and FTP your videos to Blip via your N73.
If you have the vox config file on your n73 it seems to take videos larger than 4mb. I tried to send one to youtube via shozu a few weeks back and it refused, but using vox out of the online services posted it fine. Though I do not know how much larger than 4mb you can get…
