N95 Ngage Edition?

N95_high_gps_05a_2
I’ve said numerous times both here and on HowardForums that I think the black N95 (let’s not kid ourselves, it’ll come) should be an Ngage Edition, with red backlights. I’ve seen it in my head so often it’s ridiculous, and I’ve just started to learn Photoshop, so I figured I’d give it a go.

Plus I’ve just been sitting at my computer refreshing the tracking page on my N95, so I figured I’d do something useful while I’m at it. So this is my first attempt at photoshopping an image, so be kind to me.

Here it is. Nothing fancy, just black with red backlights on the keypad. It’ll come pre-loaded with the Ngage Arena application, of course, and hopefully Nokia has a controller accessory in the wings. Thoughts? Would you buy this?

  1. Nice final product, though, if it came to me, I would prefer red menu/joystick/call/endcall/pen/multimedia… buttons. I don’t know but the mix of silver, red and black doesn’t come out very professionnal. Try to modify the color of the whole joystick/… button bundle either to black with red backlights, either to dark red with normal red (the one u already used) backlight. I think that would look awesome.

  2. The new N-Gage stuff (and believe me, the Arena stuff is slick from having played with it at GDC) is one of the few ways I’m able to keep from buying another new phone…waiting until it’s officially launched. I should note that I doubt I’ll be able to wait, but maybe I’ll just get an e61i, and save the “multimedia” device purchase for until after N-Gage Next-Gen goes live.

  3. And you said you didn’t want an N95… That phone is growing on you like a fungus.

  4. Yea what happened to I’m skipping the N95!!! LOL!!!!!!

  5. That would be nice. I think though that for it to be an NGage edition that it would have to have SDHC support and come with a rash opf games that not only play well on the N95, but also on one’s TV.

Now that would change things :)
