Rita Picks A Call Manager

Rity Khoury of Dotsisx blog has put together a great little write-up of which call manager she uses on her device and why. She covers several features and how they might be useful to you.

Personally I’ve never used a call manager on my S60. I tried several years ago on my Nokia 6620 but was unable. It seemed that certain S60 devices are unable to play back audio during a phone call. This caused problems because baaically the applicatipn “answers” the call and then plays local media back as the voicemail recording.

As Rita points out, this has been fixed. So if you’re looking for a more robust call management system than your provider’s voicemail platform, click here to read more.

  1. Was surprised by reading my name on the first post. Thanks for mentionning it. Hope some people find my post helpful when it comes to chosing a call manager utility. Webgate’s solution isn’t perfect, as I mentionned in my post, but it has the 2 features that I’m not willing to compromise after I’ve had them and seen them work.
Oh and good luck with the 30 days off pc…
