If you don’t recall, I posted about some of Scalado’s applications back in December. They are really into the imaging factor, and have several different applications that allow you to do cool things with the imaging features on S60 devices.
However, today’s news is that Scalado’s CAPS imaging software has been chosen to ship as a reference component with S60. Why do you care? Because Scalado’s CAPS imaging software focuses on better image processing, making things faster and less RAM-intensive.
Anything that improves upon the camera’s time to perform specific functions is a welcome improvement, and I’m really glad to see steps being taken. I wonder when we’ll start to see this en masse?
