Spodtronic - Internet Radio on your S60v3!

Symbian-Freak brought the goods today in the form of the announcement of Spodtronic 2.1. Spodtronic is a free application that uses your phone’s internet connection (either GPRS/EDGE or WLAN) to listen to internet radio stations. It’s brought to you by Virgin Media, but has a plethora of stations preset that you can pick from, including selections from Sky.fm and 1.fm and other popular companies.
It installed easily on my N95, and I haven’t tried it yet on my N75 (which I *finally* got back from Nokia, watch this space for the deets). However, I really enjoy how visual the application is. You’ll find browsing for stations a visual adventure. There is a "top stations" list, or you can simply browse, or add your own. Very good, well laid out application, and with a great website, as well, for further personalization.
**Spodtronic is a free application, but as mentioned, uses your mobile device’s data connection. As such, PLEASE make sure that you have an unlimited data bucket before attempting to use the application. Neither I, nor Symbian-Freak, nor Spodtronic can be held responsible if you get a huge bill in the mail from your carrier. **

yeah…this is a way cool app. i was using it since my n-gage days ..and then on my n70..and now on my n95. but its got some real issues. firstly ..if you have a screensaver/powersaver set..and if you are listening to a podcast…the podcast will stop when the screensaver/powersaver comes into effect. Secondly ..the streaming radio does not work if you push it to the background. And thirdly..the backlight remains on constantly ..when ur listening to radio streams. Hope the guys at liquid air labs fix this soon .
and fourthly, closing the flip on the n75 cuts the stream, so on s60 flips you have to walk around with the flip open to continue listening.

Also it seems really finicky about connecting, and about 30% of the time the program bombs out on opening. This happens on both my N73 and my N75. Black screen, white error text.
Dude, totally off topic, but I love opening my browser and seeing the Pussycat Dolls in it
