I really hate doing these, as it detracts away from my ability to add my own thoughts, but I’m hopelessly behind in blogging, and I have a TON of things that I want to share with you guys. One thing I really need to learn is how to travel and blog successfully. Being in Chicago for a few days really threw me off the habit. So, here goes…..
1. Nokia E90 will be launched officially in Jakarta on June 13th.
2. Remember the Nokia Aeon "concept phone"? It’s real.
3. Nokia’s got a new contest - Be The Connected - play to win a killer setup.
4. Nokia N77 starts shipping - I noticed it’s the only Nokia in a LONG while without a recessed main screen. I like that.
5. Nokia files in Texas court (yee-haw) for an injunction against Qualcomm’s MediaFLO and BREW patents, saying that they infringe on Nokia’s patents. Partnered with the 3G ban against Qualcomm (which actually helped Nokia, as they don’t use Qualcomm’s 3G chips, apparently), this sucks for Qualcomm.
6. The Nokia N95 apparently is SDHC compatible,
there’s a massive thread on HoFo showing people using the 4GB MicroSDs
with their N95s (and an E90 screenshot showing the same)
7. Ken Camp checks out Zurfer (Flickr for your mobile)
8. Gizmo updated on both N800 and N95
9. Krisse at AllAboutSymbian pits S40 against S60 - really a must read, I haven’t gotten to it yet, but apparently he declares a winner
10. Mobiola Webcam for S60 is updated, adds Screen Capture

12. Nokia Nseries PC Suite released, apparently nothing new

The main screen on most other S60 devices is slightly recessed into the casing, offering some protection from elements, but also leaving a border of grime if not taken care of with a qtip.
the N77’s screen is flush with the rest of the case.
