Jaiku Mobile v.80 is OUT

Jaiku’s new mobile client for S60 devices is out. If you want the rundown on features, you can look here, here, here, or here. It’s stinkin awesome, and I highly suggest you download it if you really want to dig in and get connected in a community. I’m rcadden on there, feel free to add me. You can also pull up the mobile site, m.jaiku.com, from just about any mobile device.
I’ve installed and uninstalled Jaiku before, but in the last month or two, I’ve noticed and decided some things around it that I want to share with you guys. First, make no mistake, Jaiku is NOT like Twitter. It’s not a microblogging platform where you get on there and tell the world (or just your friends) that you’re eating a chicken sandwich. It is, in my opinion, a full-on social network, much like Facebook or MySpace or whatever else you may use.
And I personally (along with others) feel that it has a strength that none of those others have - it’s tied directly into your mobile device. Let’s face it, that’s where the social network should be focused. If you look at all the different places you have accumulated "contacts" (be they friends or not), the ones that you contact the most are in your mobile’s phonebook, am I right? So why would you start a social network anywhere but there?
Jaiku integrates fully with the S60 phonebook, and I believe other versions are planned for the future. My friend Ken Camp talks alot about Jaiku being his lifestream, and that’s the other big strength. I can pull all my feeds into Jaiku: Flickr, Blip, my Blog, and really anything else that has a feed. When you add me as a contact, you get those feeds, too (and if one annoys you, you can easily opt-out), so that as I’m pushing content to my various online repositories, you get them, as well.
And you can have fun conversations with people. I’d encourage you to check it out, and add me on there. See what you think.

urm..too bad. I’m using Twitku which updates both of my twitter and jaiku..
I used that, too, for a bit, but I have to ask the same question I asked myself: Are you really getting anything out of either one? I mean, updating Jaiku with something for Twitter, and vice versa doesn’t really accomplish anything, and makes you look really random on one or the other. Granted, you can easily tell Twitku if you only want it to post on one, but from my experience, you’re really missing out on the opportunity to be involved in both.
i want to increse sound of my N 72 mobile, when compared with sony ericson my phone sound is very less plzzzzzzzz help.
