Screenshot 2.80 Released

Screenshot
Against the odds, Antony Pranata has gotten the latest version of his Screenshot application signed for distribution! He was helped by some friends at Epocware to get v2.80 signed and it is now ready for distribution. You can get it here. (I’ve also updated the download link on the M.Symbian-Guru.com mobile app directory, for convenient on-device downloading.)

There are a few new shortcuts, most notably the ability to use the camera button to take screenshots, which I like. I haven’t really played with it enough to say what the other changes (if any) are.

I’m glad to know that he’ll be updating Screenshot still. As I said previously, Screenshot is an indispensable tool for any blogger. Keep up the great work, Antony!

Also, a big huge thanks to Epocware for helping a fellow developer out. You can check out their apps here, including Handy Taskman, the first application I install on any phone I get. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again, I love S60 because of the community that’s been built around it.

Thanks Ricky. There is not so many new features except additional shortcuts.
One thing that the new version only installs one language. The previous version installs all languages to your phone. I found that it causes long installation time to the memory card. Besides that, it causes some problem on uninstallation (although it’s very rare case).
