So after the how-to on installing apps and themes the other day, I’ve had a ton of people ask where the best places to find themes are. Obviously, my first answer is that the only theme you’ll ever need is over there on the sidebar, the Symbian-Guru theme. Heh, just kidding, I realize it’s not for everyone.
So what are the best places to find themes for your mobile device? Well, here’s a few:
1. The best will always be Ed’s E-series.org blog, and his Theme Fridays. This is a fine-tuned list, and you’ll find quality, but not exactly quantity.
2. Two themers that I know of, Babinokia and p@sco, are phenomenal. It’s really obvious that they put alot of time and effort into their themes.
3. You can create your own at Ownskin.com. This is a great option if you have some personal pictures that you’d like, or if you know what you want your theme to look like but can’t find one already made. The options are a bit limited, and you end up with your "themes" icon changed to theirs, but it’s a small price to pay for the simplicity.
4. You can visit either Symbian-themes.com or MMCForums.net. Both offer a TON of themes, mostly user-generated, that you can download and install. These sources are all about quantity, so they’re more likely to have something you like, but there’s no guarantee of the quality.
So what are my favorite themes? My all-time favorite is Mask, which I found at Ed’s E-series.org site. It’s just simple and classic. What’s your favorite theme? Post the link in the comments to share with others!
I get mine from howardforum’s in the “s60″ sections, themes forum. P@sco is by far THE BEST I’ve seen on the net!

Nice round up Ricky, as always! I totally agree with you concerning Babi and Pasco, i’ve said it so many times now i’m so tired of repeating it, they are really amazing!
For more theme resources, you could also add http://www.symbian-freak.com where, in the forum, there are so many themes. I especially like the ones by Alfa and Dark Saber.
I think you should also include Luca’s (another italian, these guys are talented!) themes too, he’s got a really nice (yet small) collection.

As to my favorite theme of all time, hmm, it’s gotta be a tie between 3: Blue Dream by Pasco, Aqua Orange by Lucap, and InBlu by Babi.

I think my favorite theme for the N95 is actually the Red N76 theme. Ricky are there any other cool themes on the N76??
i prefer nokia original theme.. especially the n95 default theme. I’ve been using it for 2-4 months.. and now i’m using the reflect ..

You mean there is another theme out there worth using over the SG theme?!?! I loved that theme….
Browsing around ipmart-forum.com and the theme section usually reveals some really nice results. I recommend becoming a premium member to get rid of the ridiculous amounts of ads though.
