Chatting with the Guru - Episode 1 - Stefan and Ovi
I’m very pleased to announce the first episode of Chatting with the Guru, with my guest, Stefan Constantinescu of Intomobile. This is something that I have been planning to get started for a long time now and I finally got a microphone and my theme music, so here it is. The format is going to be me hosting a different guest each time, and talking about, well, whatever we feel like talking about. Obviously they’ll have something to do with the mobile industry, but it will not be limited to just Nokia/Symbian topics.
Please know that I am begging for feedback. Please also know that I’m aware of the quality and will be steadily working to improve on it. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Hopefully, this will be an opportunity to get a conversation with people in the industry that you, the reader, might not be able to just sit down and chat with. It will *NOT* be an interview show.

First: It was a VOIP conversation over a weak connection, wasn’t it?
Second: I would LOVE to throw in comments in realtime, but…looks like I’ll have to stick with giving comments “a posteriori”.
And last but not least: Brilliant new cast! I’m gonna contemplate about a lot of topics tonight…

IMHO, the podcast is a little bit too long. May be keep it shorter (less than 30 minutes).

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, it was done using Gizmo, cause we couldn’t get Skype to record (for free). Real-time commentary is an idea, though I may push that down a bit on the to-do list for this. I want to get the quality better first.
The length, yes. My goal is to keep it under or around 30 min. I’ve got several more planned, and fully intend to have a new one every other week, so stay tuned.
Also, I’ll be updating the OPML file over on the sidebar to include this podcast for you soon.
And if you need volunteers to chat with…
Very nice man, good to hear both of you hashing it out in that way. The comment that it’s like TWiT but for mobiles is very apt.
