Steve’s at it again with another KILLER episode of the Smartphones Show. He’s on number 42, and this time it’s all about the Nokia: Go Play event. Steve also gives some thoughts on how to get the most out of your GPS enabled smartphone, and then goes into his list of the top 5 smartphones (you may be surprised).
Steve also asks several questions of the viewer in this episode, the biggest (imo) being what you’d suggest for editing the videos taken by his N93/N95 smartphones. I’m interested to know this, as well. Currently, I’m using Squared5 to convert them to .AVI, and then using Ulead or Sony’s Vegas software to edit the resulting video. The conversion process is annoying, and as of late has been cutting the audio out, as is evident in the latest Driving with the Guru episode.
I’d definitely like to know what people are using (though I’m currently limited to Windows apps) and preferably find a software that can import those N95 video files without having to convert at all. I’m anxiously waiting to see what suggestions Steve got.
