I have no problem downloading podcasts. I have even found a simple way to use my blog's blogroll to create my own podcast "Directory" -see http://vrypan.net/log/2007/10/31/using-wordpress-as-opml-manager-for-my-n95-podcast-subscriptions/ for details.

i really like the podcast feature, but my n95-3 takes forever to download over wifi. for some reason download speeds over my home network are brutally slow, but only when it is donwloading podcasts, nothing else. have experienced this with the n81 or your n95?

The N81 is now avail. in Switzerland at a price just 60€ below the N95. On a 2 year contract, they still want some 240€ for it! The 0 Gig version! For the same price one can get some of the newest WM smartphones or most feature rich SE/LG cameraphones, all of which beat the N81 in any aspect (except gaming maybe, but since the N81 doesn’t even shine there…).
In other words, the carriers hate the N81 or at best, don’t think it’ll sell anyways. So much bout the entry / youngsters model for the new n-gage platform. Needless to say, that whereas a few years ago most youngsters carried Nokias, rarely do I see any using one now. It doesn’t matter whether there’s a trillion S60 phones out there, business types aren’t the target group for games, youngsters are. If Nokia want their gaming business to realy take off this time, they better get to work on the device prices since all of those have been way more expensive than the phones they’re competing with.

Normal market/lineup positioning and cost control. There is nothing surprising about the 2mp cam in the N81.

ouch…the N75 smokes the N81 imo. Not a good sign Nokia. Throw the 3.2cz on this phone and I think it becomes a much better option.
