Nokia N97 Leaked? *Edit* Fake
*EDIT* - Thanks to many who’d pointed out this was fake. As I stated in the comments, I’d seen the pic before, but dismissed it myself. When it showed up on WWIGO’s site (they’re no fly-by-night setup) I figured it had a bit of cred. My apologies. *EDIT*
Thanks to the sharp-eyed team at the N95blog for catching this slip-up. Motvik, the creators of WWIGO software to use your S60 device as a webcam recently updated their software. When you go to the site to download, there’s a list of current devices that the software is compatible with. Scroll to the bottom and you see a new entry, right next to the venerable N95 - The N97!
The picture matches previous leaks found on Terminal.hu and elsewhere around the internet. Perhaps THIS is what’ll be announced on Nov 2nd, or they may hold out till Nokia World in Amsterdam to announce this beauty. A closer look at the Terminal.hu pictures show that the dual-slide has been removed and the music playback buttons placed in a row underneath the S60 button cluster.
Ahahahah! You’re just kidding right? Please tell me you didn’t believe this faked draw.
I’m not saying it’s a sure-fire thing, and I saw these pics before but didn’t post them cause I smelled fake. However, WWIGO is a pretty stand-up group, doubtful they’d list a fake as compatible.
Hate to say it buddy, but that’s definitely a fake. That picture’s been floating around for a while now. A fan had designed it as a concept and a lot of sites and eBay scammers posted about it and tried to sell it. I’m at work, but when I get back I’ll see if I can find the link for you.
My favorite concept ever was this “N98″ someone created from design elements of the Luna. It was AMAZING.

I’ve actually seen this for pre-order on some websites a couple months ago- though it’s been discussed on my forum enough that I’m pretty familiar with seeing it. But yeah- it’s been around for a while now. There are actually elements of Sony-Ericsson devices in this hacked-up image.
