AllAboutSymbian ‘Insight’ Podcast
I wanted to point this out to you cause I think you’ll get as much out of it as I do. AllAboutSymbian has several podcasts, both audio and video, but they’ve started a new one that’s really awesome. Temporarily called “AAS Insight”, this is setup really similar to Chatting with the Guru, only instead of me hosting a guest, it’s a conversation between Rafe, Steve, and Ewan (and apparently guests in the future). What’s so great about this?
These guys have been around Symbian devices for longer than I have been alive. Having spent some time with both Rafe and Ewan (and a Chatting with the Guru with Steve), I can say that these guys really know what they’re talking about, and are able to offer alot of insight as to where Symbian has been and where it’s going, and how current events affect it.
You most certainly do not want to miss this Podcast, and I’ve added the feed to the Symbian-Guru OPML file off to the right sidebar, for your convenience. You can also listen at the this link.
What if we’d like to check it out, but aren’t able to listen. Is there a transcript available?
Mr. Gunn, unfortunately, I don’t think there is a transcript available. The podcast is nearly 30min long, a transcript would be ghastly to create and to read.
However, if you follow the link to the AAS page, you can get some show notes that give you an idea of what they talk about, so you can know if it’s worth the time to download.
Thanks for the kind words Ricky. Mr. Gunn - I’ll look into transcriptions for the podcasts, but I’m afraid it probably wont happen simply because of the time involved.
