Lightsaber v1.1 Updated for Nokia N95

Graham has just emailed me the update to Lightsaber for the N95, v1.1. Updates include:
No lag when swinging
No space inbetween saber hum when idle
Light Saber green light emulator
Text that says “Press OK to Start”
You can get the most updated version at Graham’s new blog by clicking here.

Awesome!
Now this little app is a real goldmine of fun (at least for a SW-fan like me).
I think Graham will appreciate some feedback for further improvements, so here it is:
- fill help and about with information
- remove coordinates
- change text when saber active to “…to end”
- change non-active screen to white on black (so it looks more like switching the saber on and off)
- add volume control
- sync color-flashing with movement:
* no or almost no white flashes when not moving
* some white flashes when moving and not hitting
* bright white flash when playing hit-sound
(I considder the last one the ultimate fine tuning)
Great update!! Its even more funny now.. It would be nice to have a discrete change of the slow “vrrruuuuummm” according to soft movement as well. And more sound effects, like other types of “clash!” sound!
Keep up the good work!!!
hi i am new in this great site.when i install this application and it is finishied , i run application but only my page flicker and there is no action and again come back to menu page. i install accelerometer, and i use rotateme in my n95.please help me .thanks
First uninstall it and then install it on your phone memory. It does not work on Memory card.
Any chance of adding volume control? I started it up in the office and it’s pretty loud.
What’d be cool is if it could use the camera shutter button as the on/off button too :o)
Things to do next:
1. Add volume control
2. Add volume control
3. Add volume control
Seriously, this thing is way too f***ing loud. (But it’s still cool.)
much better response than previous version although it would be much better if they can add phone built in light support. for example when you pretend to strike someone your phone camera light should splash. This will help people to not look like idiots when they play with this app. you know what i mean.
No light, Ag no man
@Mark: I’m there with you .. same problem. I WANT MY LIGHTSABER!
Dohh .. Not Mark - but Mohammad… same problem as you.
A new version has been released
1.2
You can now rise down volume and choose the good or evil (green or red light
