Mobile Video Hat for Nokia Nseries

Mobile Video Hat

This is by far one of the coolest accessories I’ve ever seen. Mark Guim over at the Nokia Blog saw this in use in NYC at the Nseries sponsored Crown Point Festival, and received one packaged with his Nokia N95 8GB yesterday. So what is it? It’s a hat that positions your Nseries device directly in front of your face, so that you can easily watch videos while keeping your hands free.

Even better is that there is a Mobile Video Hat website complete with downloads and a few real-life scenarios where you might be able to use the Mobile Video Hat, such as dating or cooking. Mark’s created a video showing how he would use the Mobile Video Hat, but I can definitely think of a better instance – long airline flights, such as those from DFW to London! How freakin great would this be, I wouldn’t have to watch the poor video selection from American Airlines, I could watch whatever I had converted and put on my handset!

You can check the video after the break, but I can say that I for one am really wanting one of these cool hats. There’s so many killer things that this would be REALLY useful for, my mind is spinning thinking of them all!

What do you think? Would you order a Mobile Video Hat? Would you watch videos with it or use it to record them?

In the words of Stan Marsh:

“No way dude, I’m not wearing Child-Tracker.”

I don’t care how functional it is, if you wear this in public, the cool-point hemorrhage WILL kill you.

Really nice gadget, but i don’t think anyone would wear it in public, maybe on a long flight but never in public. But it could be very useful for recording home videos and things like that.
