Nokia N82 Live Pics and Hands On!

I have to confess, I’m a bit jealous, but the guys over at Symbian-Freak have somehow managed some hands-on time with the Nokia N82. Yes, that’s right. I reported on it first back in May, and then live pics surfaced recently, but this is real hands-on reviewing.
A quick rundown on options reveals that it’s basically a candybar form of the Nokia N95, with 3G, WiFi, a 5.0MP Carl Zeiss lens, though upgraded with a Xenon flash, and also featuring a lens cover. GPS is built in, as well.
Pricing and availability are unknown at the moment, but one thing is that auto-rotation of the screen (Ala RotateMe2.0) is supported out of the box, which is really nice. It also sports a microUSB port, though that is used for charging also, which isn’t so bad. I am admittedly sad to see the return of the "gallery" key right next to the camera button. I’d gotten quite used to not having it on the N81, and am considering disabling it on the N95. To me, it’s more of a nuisance than anything else.
The S60 cluster is similar to the N81, with the end/send keys off to the side and the rest all jumbled in the middle. Free RAM is a pleasant 90MB, which I can certainly deal with. Still trying to get deets on the battery, so stay tuned.

WOW!!!! It’s my next phone for sure..
Very nice indeed, although i do like the slider of the n95-3, this will certainly appeal to those that do not. The keys look a lot like SE P9XX UIQ.
Symbian-Freak reports it to support N-Gage. How good will the keys be for gaming? I think, they should have given some larger keys. I feel, that is going to be the main issue to buy or not to buy the phone. By the way, why don’t they make the build quality of these phones better? Hope this will feel more solid than hollow. Other features seem good though. And are Nokia always listening to us and implementing things which we find cool? The rotateMe v2.0 was announced just a week or two ago.
Well, most of the gaming action should be controllable with the D-Pad, so the size of the numeric keys, IMO, is not a huge concern for gaming. They do look cramped for texting etc. though so in that regard I agree.
cool. the n82 is a ‘must have’ scared of the price though.
wow… from digital mock-up to rumored pictures, and now the real deal!
Hey Ricky any word if its u.s. 3g.
battery is bp-6mt 1050 mAH, same as E51 and N81
Let’s hope the build quality is solid.
Oh, and I’m also hoping for tri-band 3G…this thing would then have EVERYTHING the K850i has and so much more.
