Creebies - Ricky Thinks They’re Creepy, Who Am I To Disagree?

Creebies, the newborn baby of N-Gage was announced today by Nokia through a press release.

“Nokia Games Publishing has brought a quirky game to N-Gage that appeal to all ages,” said Dr Mark Ollila, Director of Technology and Strategy and Head of Games Publishing, Nokia. “With Creebies anyone can have the pleasure of owning a pet without the trouble of cleaning up the mess.”

Apparently, not only you will be able to enjoy having a clean pet on your screen that is customizable, has its own personality, and needs constant care for his health meters not to drop, but also your pet will be able to play games with others via bluetooth and even breed with them, that of course in case you end up meeting with that one person in your city/country that has a Creebi, but they are not getting into that much of a detail, are they?

Now one idea that would make that Creebi a little less creepy (at least to me) is that it would be available through all N-Gage games, and you could play games not only as yourself but also as your Creebi. Let me explain. The more healthy your Creebi is, the more strong it is throughout games: starting at higher levels, having more lives or longer lives or else. Plus playing games would exhaust your Creebi and lower his health so you’d have to feed him and take care of him. I know that by then you’ll not only be having a virtual pet, but also living and playing in your parallel universe through him, but it sure is an exciting idea. What do you think?

  1. Just surfed the web and found about this one.

Why haven’t they launched this game?
    I think it looks great.

On a second thought, many games that was announced was probably canceled as I can see now.
