Darla Mack Interviews Bill Plummer

I’ve had the distinct pleaure of meeting Bill Plummer twice now, once at the L.A. Event and then I ran into him last week at Nokia World 2007. Considering his position, the guy is easily one of the most approachable and friendly Nokians I’ve met to date. I mean, we’re standing there waiting for Stefan to get us drinks at the Nokia Party in Amsterdam and he’s sharing pics of his kids and showing off the themes he has installed on his N95 8GB (unfortunately, none of them were the Symbian Guru official theme).
Anyways, my friend Darla Mack, the Mobile Diva, has convinced Mr. Plummer to answer some questions regarding the future of Ngage and what’s to come in the next 20 days or so (it’s December, remember?). I found the interview to be really insightful and a good read.
Two tidbits I picked out are that Bill says the new Ngage will *not* be limited to only Nseries devices, but other S60v3 handsets will be compatible, as well. He also states that the official launch will be global, meaning that the U.S. *finally* won’t have to wait until we can enjoy games. I’m pumped to be able to take on some of my international friends in a game of Creatures of the Deep!
Personally, I’d like to see some of the Nokia and Ngage product managers and executives with Ngage accounts, ready to play anyone or at least compare fish! What do you think?
