Nokia E90 Review - Does It Measure Up

E90
Rajaie over at the Symbian World blog has had a chance to play with the Nokia E90 for a while, and thought it would be interesting to compare it to some of the more recent Communicator devices from Nokia. Personally, I’m totally enamored with the E90.

The E90 is a different cat than most of the E-series devices, as it has several N-series features. The 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens and autofocus, along with decent video capture stands out to me. Why is it the only E-series to be gifted with such a great camera? Why is it that other E-series get shafted with the poor 2MP camera with no autofocus or anything?

Let’s not also forget the software differences that Nokia has created between E- and N-series, as well. What do you think? Is the E90 an Nseries wannabe, or a sign of things to come?

  1. I think it’s a sign of things to come. And the s60 touch will also be added?A hybrid of all N-E-touch ,ahh thats my dream.

  2. ahem …. the e90 doesn’t have carl zeiss optics.

  3. Sid: it does have CZ optics, but is not written explicitly on the camera. it is a marketing thing, why it does not get bigger attention.
