SkyeStream To Release SkyeSpy - I See Potential
Skyestream, the makers of such amazing software as the essential SkyeQuiKey and the funny YoYap! are about to release another innovative application called SkyeSpy.
- SkyeSpy is remote audio monitoring, detection and notification software for your S60v3 mobile device
- SkyeSpy can be used as: (1) an intruder detection and alarm system for the home and office,
(2) a remote baby monitor,
(3) a remote car alarm monitor, or
(4) a spy device to listen-in on any environment without anyone knowing! [...]
- SkyeSpy monitors all surrounding audio. On detection of audio above a determined threshold e.g. level 12 out of 15 – such as a car alarm, a breaking window or a baby crying, SkyeSpy will start recording the incoming audio for 60 seconds, then automatically send the user the audio recording as an MMS sound clip. [...]
In order to use SkyeSpy, you’ll need to devices, one of which has the application installed and is used to monitor the audio and is left on the “spying scene”, the other is a landline or mobile device paired with the first device and that works as the receiver. Communications can be initiated from both ends.
You can catch all the pre-release information here and watch that page for the Discount Launch Offer.I have been always impressed by Skyestream’s releases and this one sure doesn’t fail. Although it targets much smaller audience than the mighty SkyeQuiKey, I can see great uses for SkyeSpy. I will first say that I am not a fan of spying activities of any sort, but the baby monitoring and the alarm usage are sure bets. For instance, if by any chance your car gets stolen and you always leave a device running SkyeSpy in it, you will be notified about the theft and you could even track your thief if that device of yours has a theft software like PhoneGuardian installed. Sweet! Can you think of any other property or life saving situations for SkyeSpy?

Hey Rita - See the comments on my post for some cool additional details. For example, you can call the app covertly and listen in to the surrounding environment for any duration without anyone knowing!
Yeah I read that on the site. But i just said here “communications can be initiated from both ends” :p
