Friday Freeware Roundup

To take the place of Handango’s cancellation of Free App Friday, I decided to take a few minutes and compile some of the latest and greatest freeware apps for S60v3 handsets. Hopefully you’ll find some of them useful, and be able to really extend your device.
CallFilter S60v3 - CallFilter is a free application that acts like a secretary in your phone, allowing you to control whose calls get through and who gets filtered to voicemail automatically.
GPSed Beta - GPSed is pretty much the same thing as Nokia’s Sports Tracker application, only with more options and extended abilities.
InstFast - InstFast is a free application that allows you to easily install a group of applications on your handset. You put all the .sisx files into a specific folder, tell InstFast which memory to install to, and away it goes, bypassing most of the annoying popups you get. Note that you need to self-sign InstFast before using, and it will NOT sign unsigned applications for you.
Mobile Signer - Mobile Signer is brought to you by the same people who created InstFast, and allows you to self-sign an application directly on your S60v3 handset. Simply copy your .cer file and key to your handset and Mobile Signer does the rest.
Log Exporter - This is a cool app that simply exports your call log to a .CSV file, for importing into your favorite spreadsheet software. This allows you to do some analysis to see how you’re using your minutes each month.
MobyPal - Mobypal sounds like a ShoZu replacement, basically allowing you to easily upload your pics and vids to the Mobypal.com site, and you can choose whether to keep them private or to share them with everyone.
Python for S60 - Python is a programming language and it has been ported to S60v3. This allows you to run all sorts of mini-apps written in Python, such as PyRestart. This simple application has one function - restart your phone. That’s it.
These are all hosted on my MOSH account, which provides you a simple link with which you can either download to your PC or your mobile phone. Which application do you find most useful?

That’s a great list thanks, I’ll have to update my post - http://demp.se/y/2007/07/17/list-of-freeware-symbian-s60v3-apps
Hallo!
Can you put also Handy Calendar in the list? It has been given the last Friday of 2007! It would be very nice!
Did someone get InstFast to work?
I would love to use it, but when i press “Go” nothing happens at all
I have the same problem with InstFast. On my E50 it installs fine (after signing it first of course), but clicking on GO doesn’t do a thing. I’m not a novice in using S60 and I’m sure all settings are correct.
Somebody has got a solution??
I found the solution. Apparently there is some sort of bug in the program. It will only work if the year on your phone is not 2008, but 2007 instead.
So when you use it, set the clock back one year. I hope the developer fixes this real soon.
