Got An N81? Part 2 - Get Themes

So far, we’ve pretty much established that I am a theme freak. Since I got the N81, I have been browsing through my 60-70 MB of theme collection and even surfing the web, on the haunt for some themes that would match the N81 8GB’s black, brown and beige/gold colors.

First it seemed like a daredevil mission, but then later on, I found myself with approximatively 30 themes that made the N81 8Gb’s screen sparkle.

Of those 30 themes, I am posting here the best 14, with different styles and coming from different providers, hoping there will be something here to suit everyone’s taste.

Jump after the break to see the themes that fit the N81 8GB so well they should have been made default on the device.

Below each screenshot, you will find a link to the theme where the original author posted it. For some, it’s the official author’s blog, for others it’s a forum thread where the author posts his themes. As you know when it goes to forums, sometimes a registration is needed in order to download the files. Concerning the NFS Karbon theme, I couldn’t find the original author, but it looks so well on the N81 8GB that I had to include it, plus I know there are a lot of racing fans around here. If you know the author and the original post, please drop me a line so I can modify it here. Now let’s cut the crap and get some theme-lovin’.

Vlad Eye by Babi
Vlad Eye by Babi and Alyanna by Babi

Oh No Kenny by Jendell and Garfield by Jendell

Concert by Taieb and Family Sunrise by Taieb

New Gold by Pizero and Dark Star by Pizero

N73 Full Forms and N73 Mechanic posted by PTWS

Paris by Aqualux and InduceVault BeOS by Atlantis®

Ivory by Ivanov and NFS Karbon (unknown)

For now, I am pretty much juggling between Concert by Taieb, Ivory by Ivanov, InduceVault BeOS by Atlantis and N73 Full Forms. For what it’s worth, the N73 Full Forms theme has those round-angled rectangles that look so much like the N81’s predominant design patterns spotted by the eagle-eyed James Burland. It looks spectacular on the N81, but so do the others. Well it’s hard to choose, but that’s a good thing, ain’t it?
