Urbanista Evening
I met up with Devin Balentina of The Nokia Guide this afternoon to show him around Downtown Fort Worth a bit. One of the best parts of being a blogger is meeting readers and other bloggers (Devin happens to be both) and hanging out. I showed Devin how quiet downtown really is, and introduced him to Billy Miner’s, for those that have been down here before.
Tonite I’m taking him to Billy Bob’s Texas, the World’s Largest Honky-Tonk. Charlie Robison is playing and it’s sure to be a good time for all. You can follow the action in a few ways, one of which is the Urbanista Diaries website, where Devin’s every movement is tracked, along with his photos.
You can also follow along on my Flickr account, and I’ve got ShoZu loaded up on my N95-3 to immediately deliver the fun to you guys online. I’ll also be using Flixwagon to immediately share video with you, so if you want to head on over to my Flixwagon page, you can see if I’m live or not, and watch the fun. I’d like to say I’ll be Jaikuing, but I can’t make any promises. With ShoZu and Flixwagon (both sucking up the 3.5G), I’m not sure I’ll need any help draining my battery quickly.
After leaving Fort Worth, Devin is off to L.A. where he’s going to meet up with more friends, and then he’s up to Las Vegas before meeting JoseR.A.M. in Singapore!
