Black N82 Finally Official
Mobile World Congress doesn’t start till next week, but that doesn’t stop things from leaking out early. Stefan from IntoMobile.com finds stuff all over the place, and this time he uncovered a listing on NokiaUSA.com’s site for the black Nokia N82. It’s apparently for the U.S. market only initially, though unfortunately it’s still lacking the U.S. 3G frequencies.
I have to say, I’m a huge fan of the buttons all being black, as opposed to the chrome ones we’ve seen in mockups. I have to confess, I’m really hoping that Nokia doesn’t do what they’ve been doing and feed us non-US 3G versions for a few months before giving us a US 3G compatible version.
What do you think of the new black housing? It’s definitely looking good. Pricing is a whopping $630, though, so you may want to wait a few months for the prices to drop back down out of the stratosphere before jumping the gun.

oh dam thats sexy! Unfortunately i already picked up an n82 but mayb i might be tempted to go for this too lol
That’s definately cool!I’m N82 user from Europe, but I think if I could find the parts I could go to the repair center and ask them to change them.
I also hope to get parts and make my nokia n82 black:)
Good now if the guru could do his review between this and the N95 I might be able to decide wich to get..
decisions, decisions….
I’d sell my N95-3 for a US 3G N82… no question. I used to not think that I would sacrifice the extra screen real estate … but a Xenon flash is too much to resist. Even NOW, its alllmost too much, especially with the new Black color…. but I just can’t, in good conscience, lose 3G connectivity.
NOKIA…. ARE YOU LISTENING?? US 3G N82 PLEASE!!
