FlyingMoney Manager For Symbian UIQ
FlyingBird software has released FlyingMoney Manager for Symbian UIQ-based handsets such as the Sony Ericsson P1i and W960i. FlyingMoney Manager allows you to easily keep track of your expenses and incomes with a very user-friendly interface. You can add accounts, setup spending categories, and even export it all into a CSV file to import into a desktop money management application. It also supports password protection, to make sure no one snoops in your business.
There’s also a search tool, so you can quickly find that one transaction from last week at the gas station, as well as the ability to run several different reports. Personally, I could see using this as your only money management tool, but without an easy way to sync with a desktop client, I’d have trouble using it.
I hate to confess this, but WinMo has this covered with the Money Mobile version of Microsoft Money. When you dock your handset, it’ll upload all of the newest transactions into Microsoft Money. I know it’s been discussed in the comments here on Symbian-Guru before, but S60v3 really needs a quality money management tool - with the ability to export into Quicken or MS Money.
There’s a free trial, after which it’s $ 25.75 for the full thing. No word on whether an S60v3 version is coming.
