JoikuSpot Turns Your S60 Into A WiFi Hotspot
This is one of the most useful applications to recently be developed for S60 handsets. You’ve got 3G pumping, and you’ve got WiFi on your device. You’re at say, the airport with your laptop, and having issues getting your device tethered. I’ve been there, PC Suite isn’t always the best way, and it’s a pain to hassle with a USB cord or Bluetooth dongle to get it all setup right. This is there JoikuSpot comes in. This application uses your phone’s 3G (or EDGE, if you’re desperate) connection as the backend for a WiFi hotspot.
Joikuspot is a free download, I’ve also uploaded it to my MOSH account so you can easily get it on your mobile. Please note that JoikuSpot is basically an easier way to tether, so you should have an unlimited data plan if you intend to use it. Also note that it currently does not support adding security, so others will be able to access your phone’s hotspot.
