Keep Up With Mobile World Congress

Mobile World Congress is upon us and if, like me and Ricky, you aren’t lucky enough to patrol the Spanish streets and the event showrooms, you can still catch on some of the excitement. Nokia’s theme is “Share More. Experience More.” hinting at a probable Share For Ovi, or maybe even an Ovi announcement. The official Nokia MWC site is up and you can subscribe to receive email updates. They have already sent a 2 emails, one reminding about MWC and the other related to the S60 demonstrations.

If live coverage is your thing, then you’ll probably enjoy the Virtual Event platform that Nseries WOMWorld have put up. You can click on the banner embedded above to go there. Right now, the red curtain is still closed but you should be able to get some action once that clock reaches 0:00:00. Expect to catch live footage of product announcements and Q&A sessions with product managers, amongst many other. And be sure to have Flash 9 installed, if not you can get it here. Now if you don’t manage to catch the launches live and still want to get the juicy details from the source, Nokia have promised to keep videos of all announcements online on MediaSeed as well as conversation videos on YouTube, so be sure to check those too. Now I know this doesn’t compare the least to being there but well, it’s better than sitting all day and moaning about it!

  1. Thanks for the service - I’ll keep updated on the MWC - but to be true, usually this is the best of the MWC
