Meet Stavros (And Laugh)
When the virtual launch event site was made available, the most intriguing part of the schedule was the “12:00 Meet Stavros” one. I discussed it with Ricky who pointed that it might be a Product Manager, then we agreed that it wasn’t likely to be that. 12:00 Barcelona time came half an hour ago, and we met Stavros! Well we mostly rolled on the floor laughing watching him, “Rome was not built in a day, which is surprising the way it looks, I mean half of it is not even finished“, but that’s not the major point here.
It is a one-day live project where Stavros will move across Rome, geotagging his positions using an N82, in order to form a geo-pattern submitted by users. It’s called Position Art, and Stavros seems to be the Master. You can head over to the virtual event and click on the 12:00 timeline to view the project video, you can also head to The World Is My Canvas site to check the project, submit your pattern and watch some more funny Stavros moments. It’s an amazing concept, and it’s driven by the funny as well as the brilliant (yet not useful) factors. As Ricky put it: “where do they get these people?”

Oh my, is this guy for real!!!
