MobiTubia Updated For Valentine’s Day
A bit late, yes, but better late than never, especially for application updates. Mobitubia has been updated to V1.76 (Build 3) and released to the public. If you’re not familiar, Mobitubia is a free application for S60v3 handsets that allows access to YouTube’s full video library. It’s awesome if you aren’t lucky enough to have a Nokia N95 8GB with Flash Lite 3 integrated, and actually offers a superior experience than browsing the full YouTube webpage would, in my opinion.
The changelog is rather short:
- Fixed: Flickering Pause Bar
- Fixed: YouTube Open Web Clip is now available
- Improve Video Playback Speed
- Center Screen for high resolution screen device, for example N80 and E90
- Reduce SIS file size in significant number (205 KB –> 180 KB)
I’ve gone ahead and loaded it up on my N95-3 and rather enjoy the interface, it’s very smooth and a pleasure to use. If you’re not a fan of the carousel YouTube access, you could also check out EmTube, a favorite here on YouTube, in fact Rita pitted the two apps against each other recently, if you’re stuck deciding.
