New Route66 Mobile 8 Vs. Nokia Maps 2.0

route66vsmapsP@sco has not only already gotten a copy of the new Route66 Mobile 8 GPS mapping software, but he has also appropriately done up a head-to-head battle vs the newly announced Nokia Maps v2.0. Normally this is something I would do myself, as I’m a big fan of GPS software and seeing whose is the best, but he has put together a pretty good comparison here, with plenty of side-by-side screenshots for your viewing enjoyment.

Here’s a link to the original version in Italian, but those of us who aren’t fluent can use this link for an English translation. I may still go ahead and try to get a copy of this new Route66, as that’s the one navigation application I’ve yet to use. What’s your favorite, out of them all?

    does anyone knows if the new version Rout66 version 8 would work on Nokia 6210 ?,, i personally think Rout66 is better than Nokia Maps,, i’ve tried it when i had the Nokia 6110 but now with the new 6210 i’m stuck with Nokia maps :(

    I have the Samsung i8510 unfortunately the phone didn’t have any Navigation software on it and I moved since buying my phone so i’m stuck. I noticed in the Tutorial on he actual phone that it uses Route66 so I’m eagerly looking for a download or a Retailer in Toronto, Ontrio, Canada. The phone i have has S60 version 3 (whatever that means)
    as my e-mail isnt published please send ur reply’s to d_mohammed175@yahoo.ca
