P@sco has not only already gotten a copy of the new Route66 Mobile 8 GPS mapping software, but he has also appropriately done up a head-to-head battle vs the newly announced Nokia Maps v2.0. Normally this is something I would do myself, as I’m a big fan of GPS software and seeing whose is the best, but he has put together a pretty good comparison here, with plenty of side-by-side screenshots for your viewing enjoyment.

Here’s a link to the original version in Italian, but those of us who aren’t fluent can use this link for an English translation. I may still go ahead and try to get a copy of this new Route66, as that’s the one navigation application I’ve yet to use. What’s your favorite, out of them all?
