Nokia Conversations YouTube Channel Launched

charlie_schickCharlie Schick, who was interviewed by Robert Scoble recently, has launched the new YouTube channel, “Nokia Conversations.” This is a really cool new initiative to get more open communication between Nokia and consumers, and should be a place to find really killer, personal videos. Already they’ve got 2 hands-on videos, of the 6210 Navigator and 6220 Classic. Charlie was recently part of the Ovi team, but has since moved on to a new project with the Social Media Relations team, working to setup some sort of new site that will help Nokia connect better with you and I, and vice versa. This new YouTube channel is just the beginning, I would expect to see more things like it soon.

My favorite thing about both videos is that they discover and point out things that I’ve not seen or heard elsewhere. Much as though they’re experiencing the phone for the first time, as well (which they might be). I’m looking forward to more content like this, from a new user’s perspective.

To get an idea of who Charlie is, you can check out his appearance on the Voice of S60 podcast here.

One Response to “Nokia Conversations YouTube Channel Launched”

  1. Hey, thanks for the good words. The YouTube channel is still just a little experiment for us, but, yes, it’ll be one of our channels to get stuff out there one Nokia Conversations is official (and if it will really ba called Nokia Conversations).

We’re frantically getting a site set up to post more interesting tid-bits about Nokia and to listen to what you all have to say (among other things).

But, I’ve only been on the team a few weeks, so please be patient.

    Talk to you later!
