Damien, the same developer who brought us PyPiwo, PyRybka, and others, has moved away from the accelerometer for an application you can use on any S60v3 handset. PyBudzik is a wake-up alarm application that not only wakes you up at a specific time, but also offers the ability to set a 3rd party application as the source of the music. Currently the application supports LCG Jukebox, FIVN, and even others such as Smartmovie.
The built-in alarm only allows you to select a single music file, but with PyBudzik, you can wake up to your favorite FM radio station (note you’ll need headphones plugged in), or even a video clip, thanks to Smartmovie.
PyBudzik [download link] requires the latest version of Python for S60, which you can download here. Both applications should be installed to the same memory (phone or removable) for best results.
