hello there,
well i have a nokia 86, and it's great, i wanted to connect to internet using my nokia via an ad hoc network, i used ur way but i still get the same message…no gateway reply..please help me before i lose my mind

The fix for the 'no gateway reply' error is:

On step 3 of the first part (enabling internet sharing):
——
On the Advanced tab, select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection check box and clear the Allow other network users to control or disable this shared Internet connection check box.
——
Do all that, plus once you click the “allow other users to connect through…”, there is another option below “Home Networking Connection” and you have to choose “Wireless Network Connection”.

That solved it for me, after a lot of headaches and annoyance :-) I do not know why everyone omitted it from their instructions :-)

how to overcome the 'no gateway reply' issue. how did google help you get the no tension wifi connection can you pl help with that
