Wow, episode 30, already! Time flies when you’re having fun, I suppose. This week’s episode of Driving with the Guru takes a look at the Bracketron mount I picked up at Best Buy for $30 (though you can get it cheaper from Amazon.com). The Bracketron mount works AWESOME and the cradle portion has plenty of options to perfectly fit whatever phone you have. Also, the second part of the show is the exciting announcement that I will be LIVECASTING my whole entire wedding, which happens on Saturday, the 29th of March! All the action will be taking place at http://www.flixwagon.com/wedding, and more details will be up soon.

  1. I can’t get this episode of Driving with the Guru to load on my PC in either Internet Explorer or Firefox. It managed to crash both browsers several times. With Firefox when I click on the link it goes to another page and shows a big Quicktime logo and then it hangs. With Internet Explorer I clicked on the link and nothing happened for several minutes. I started writing a reply here and THEN it went to another page with a quicktime logo and hung (so I had to retype this). I had a lot of problems with last weeks episode also (it kept freezing when I was watching it on my home PC). I prefer the way it used to work when I could just watch it in the Symbian-guru page without it going to another page at all. I never had any problems then.

  2. Tony - I’ve noticed the QuickTime thing, as well. I think it has to do with the fact I’m using Tubemogul to upload, and how they pull the embed link.

For your convenience, if you pull up the main Symbian-Guru.com page, there’s a video module in the middle, towards the bottom. That will *always* show the latest episode of Driving with the Guru, and will play it right there on the page, without needing to redirect or anything else.

    Thanks for the feedback, man!
