Google Reader Optimized For S60 Browser
In the car today, I pulled up Google Reader on my N95 to see what I’d missed in the past few hours. No big deal, same old Google Reader, that is until clicked to read more of a story. I noticed that rather than give me a ‘google-fied’ version, it sent me correctly to the mobile version that the site offered. Cool. I then also discovered that it did so by also opening the link in a new window. Double cool. I tried on a few more sites and sure enough, it appears as though any outgoing link through mobile Google Reader is now instructing my N95 to open it as a new window. Completely awesome, and my N95-3 handles it beautifully.
After a bit more testing, it looks like it only works if you click on the headline of the article. I tested as much as I could, so let me know how you get out with it.

Sounds good, have to try it out! I wonder though if e.g. my N75 can handle all those new windows opening. But I guess I can avoid that my changing the setting?
[Btw, I still think you site design could also do with some optimization.. When I enter your site now, I see the same article 3 times. Once on top, second time right under it, and third as a head line link on the right. Ok, I guess that last one doesn’t count, but the first two seem a bit of an overkill - I know I know there are those tabs, but honestly I have yet to gotten used to actually using them… lazy bastard me. I liked the old design better. But that’s just me. Sorry to bitch.
@Viipottaja - The 2nd place you mentioned you see the article is not always. That is a tabbed box, you can use the tabs to easily browse those categories. The first tab is News, so if the latest headline is an Applications post, it wont show under there.
