Mippin Offers News, Video On The Go
I use Google Reader as my lifeline for news. I check it constantly on the desktop, but also when mobile, on my N95-3. However, one thing that really bothers me is when I’m reading a post with an embedded video, because typically it just doesn’t show up when I’m reading on my N95-3, and I find that incredibly annoying.
Enter Mippin. Ewan Spence of AllAboutSymbian recently had a chance to chat with the VP of Product Management at Mippin, Prashant Agarwal, who demo’d a cool new feature - auto-converting videos. That’s right, if you’re browsing with Mippin on your mobile (http://www.mippin.com) and you come across a post or story with a video embedded, Mippin will automatically convert that video for your phone so you can easily enjoy it while on the move. Brilliant.
Another cool new feature that Ewan was introduced to is Mippin Today, a new dynamic page that watches what sites you visit with Mippin and automatically pulls the latest content from those sites onto a single, convenient page. Again, brilliant.
