How on earth do they ever expect to get costumers with this? You can’t even look at it if you don’t have an internet explorer… I recently replaced my iPod with an S60 handset, which works find, expect for the lack of a decent online music store. Living in Germany, I was excited when I read this news.
But then, well, I am a Mac user (no IE) and don’t have one of the specified S60 models, so this is essentially worthless to me…

For now. Do you seriosly expect them to roll it oun on all platforms at once? Not to mention all countries (as some people have suggested they should). Btw, if I am not mistaken, the holy iTunes did not work on PC right away either, nor was it available globally. ;)

Clumsy me managed to screw up the post above.

Anyway point was: Firefox marketshare in Finland is about 46%, and Nokia only supports IE. They lose about 50% of potetial user’s right there. Then how many of the IE users have one of the few handsets they support? How many of those few people wanna buy DRM-music?
