Update On Spinvox Voicemail
I’ve had my Spinvox voicemail setup for a few weeks now, and am still completely enjoying it. It has already legitimately helped me this past weekend, when I was at a wedding and was unable to answer my phone, and wasn’t interested, specially because a call came in from an unknown number. I was able to confidently send it to voicemail, and a few minutes later, received an SMS detailing that I had a package that I’ve been expecting stuck in customs and needed to give them more information. I was able to call the person back straight from the SMS, and get everything sorted out. Best of all, I had the number recorded for me, and wasn’t looking around for a pen really quick.
I’ve also gotten several personal, less immediate voicemails, both starting off with my friends noting ‘Oh, you’ve gotten voicemail setup again. It’s about time’ or something similar. Thus far, then, I’ve helped a package through customs and pleased several friends, all thanks to Spinvox. Hard to beat that, really.
Sure, there’s been some translation issues, but I can typically get the message, thanks to context clues, and I can always call in and listen to the original recording if need be. Lovely.
If you’ve not checked it out, you can get a free trial here, after which it’s a bucket price of a few bucks per month. If you’re sick of dialing in and jacking around with prompts to listen to voicemails of nothing but ‘hey, dude, call me back.’ I would HIGHLY recommend checking it out.
Over at IntoMobile.com, they’ve also dug up a cool video giving you a peek into how Spinvox actually works. Reminds me of my favorite musical, My Fair Lady.
*Disclaimer - I was setup with a free account for testing purposes*
